Ryan Seacrest couldn’t figure out how to flush Kris Jenner’s fancy toilet, left his poop there and then inexplicably decided to tell the world about it on Wednesday.
Now Piscataway-based toilet company American Standard is bravely stepping into it — by gifting both Jenner and Seacrest one of their “intuitive” smart bowls.
“We’ve got your back (and front) side!" the company said, in a letter sent to Jenner and Seacrest that accompanied the new porcelain thrones.
The gas on Seacrest’s mishap was first broken by the “American Idol” host himself, on Wednesday’s episode of “Live with Kelly and Ryan.”
“So I’m in there, and the toilet, it’s like one of those electronic toilets, but it’s black, so you can’t see any of the buttons or things on it, and it’s dimly lit,” Seacrest explained. “I can’t find the flush.”
He began to panic the way one who has pooed in Kris Jenner’s toilet but can’t flush the poo panics.
Then he pushed a button that only made the situation crappier.
“The water just builds. ... Now you’re in this moment of what do I do? Do I stick my hand in there and ... Do I tell Khloe?" Seacrest said. “I left it there. It could still be there. I don’t know.”
Clearly sensing the opportunity to make a publicity splash, American Standard quickly squeezed out a press release early Friday morning.
“To help make sure this never happens again, American Standard, with more than 150 years in the plumbing business, sent Ryan and Kris its Champion toilets and SpaLet Bidet Seats – set to arrive ASAP," reads the release from American Standard.
They also shared with reporters the letter they sent to Jenner and Seacrest, along with images of the gifted bowls. This is no cheap gift, either: The bowl retails for $500 to $600, while the fancy seat goes for another $1,650, making it quite the throne.
