The term assisted flush means basically what it sounds like. The gravity flushing power is assisted with some help from another power-generated force. One of the most common assisted flushing systems for toilets is called air-pressure assist. This is where compressed air is stored in a special flushing vessel along with the flushing water. When you press the lever, the compressed air gives the flushing water an extra push that can be very helpful for toilets with a low-profile tank.
